extend your arm so that it and the weapon is parallel to the ground (not
shown). Next, raise the weapon so it is pointing up at a 45-degree angle
and swing it to both sides of your head. |

5 WRIST STRETCHES |

| WRIST FLEXION |
| Hold your right arm straight in front of you
and curl your fingers so that they point toward your elbow. Using your
left hand, gently push on the back of your right hand, pause, return to
the starting position and repeat. |
| WRIST EXTENSION |
| Hold you right arm out in front of you and
point your fingers toward the ceiling. Using your left hand, gently push
your fingers toward your forearm, hold, return to the starting position
and repeat. |
| WRIST OUTWARD TWIST |
| Hold your right arm out, as if your going to
shake someone's hand. Grab your right thumb with your left hand and gently
push it toward the ground, hold, return to the starting position and
repeat. |
| WRIST INWARD TWIST |
| Again, hold your right arm out, as if your
going to shake someone's hand and rotate your arm so your thumb is facing
down. Using your left hand, gently push your wrist up, hold, return to the
starting position and repeat. |
| NOTES |
- Hold each stretch for 20 to 30 seconds.
- Do three sets of five repetitions for each stretch.
- When you finish with one hand, repeat with the other
