| Name: Naname-Buri (Diagonal
Swing) |
| Description: Stand with one
foot slightly in front of the other, hold the suburito with one hand and
extend your arm straight out. Swing the weapon from one side of your head
to the other. When you finish two strikes (both sides of your head), that
is one rep. |
| Sets and Repetitions: Do one
set of five repetitions with each hand. |
| Martial Arts Benefits: This
will strengthen your grip, blocks and parries. |
| Note: You can do this drill
using two hands. |
| To do the diagonal
swing, stand with one foot slightly in front of the other, hold the
suburito in one hand and extend your arm straight out (not shown). Swing
the weapon to the right (1) and then the left side of your head (2).
